Depending on what brand it is. Sometimes, it is just the form and has nothing to do with the final result. Powder is favorable for those who do not have a lot of time to deal with messing with liquid. Liquid is great because it blends better. What's the diference between foundation makeup and powder makeup?
the foundation makeup goes under the powder. I guess the powder makeup makes your face looks less oiley.
i've found that foundation makes ur skin smoother u have to get the right one for your face tho, My skin is nuetral meaning i dont have oily skin nor dry skin, however i used the wrong kind and my skin became oily. I would look for ones that say Oil control or some sort. I wouldnt use foundation and powder in my opinion it looks like to much on your face. When used correctly foundation will blend in well and look natural and give you that long lasting affect. POwder i've found that it looks just that on ur face powdery. It fades quickly and i dont thik it really work with matching skin tone. If u want a sheer look barely there then use a nice light powder, but i prefer foundation.
powder makeup goes over the foundation
foundation is a creamy base and normally is the first step in makeup. after putting foundation, you're required to set it by putting loose powder or pressed powder and then continue with the rest of the make up. This is called foundation make up.

In powder makeup, you dont start with the creamy base, you straight go onto putting loose powder. Many make up artists choose this procedure as it gives a nice shine to your face without looking to heavily done-up.
