What is that powder that the TV/movie makeup people use to keep from the actors from sweating on set ?

Can this stuff be used for everyday use ?What is that powder that the TV/movie makeup people use to keep from the actors from sweating on set ?
They use (depending on the artist) loose powder applied with a puff or brush. It is available talcum or non-talcum based. They usually use a colorless powder over foundation, but it is also available in a variety of skin tones. They also reapply it throughout the shoot as they are bound to sweat more under the hot lights. The powder actually soakes up the sweat and prevents shiney faces, but doesn't keep them from sweating completely. If you have ever seen the comedy sketch where the director yells ';Makeup!'; and someone runs over with a gigantic powder puff, and whacks the actor in the face; that is what that skit is making fun of.

Forgot to add, yes it can be used everyday.
