The powder will soak up the oil.
I really like Almay's line (you can find their make up at Wal-Mart.)
A lot of Almay's makeup designed for oily skin types have salicylic acid (an exfoliating agent used in skin care) in it. So,.. it's like the make up is cleaning your face while you wear it. It also dries it up more. But not too dry so you're flaking. LOL.

I've use sheercover, and luminess air airbrush foundation. Honesty, i liked the luminess airbrush. But, it cost $220 minimum. so i suggest probably sheercover, or bareMinerals would work for you since sheercover is 29 dollars. I have oily skin and the best foundation I've found is MAC's studio fix. It's a powder foundation. With light-medium converage.
I use bare minerals and it helps my skin a lot. You can also use oil pads by neutrogena...they take away the oil but not the makeup off your face.
Almay-clears pimples and covers, controls oil. Love it.
