What is the best brand(s) of Mineral Makeup (loose powder)?
Are their particular brands that are superior to the rest? I am looking for a base and blush. What is the best brand(s) of Mineral Makeup (loose powder)?
Bare Essentials is by far the best mineral make up I've found. It goes on so perfectly and gives you that ';doll face'; look. Also, it helps to clear up acne and is the best for covering any redness. But f.y.i If you have any allergy to sulfer/sulfa it may irritate you skin. Good luck! What is the best brand(s) of Mineral Makeup (loose powder)?
Bare Escentuals. Amazing! It goes on smooth, and you can even sleep with it on because it is so pure.
I've only ever used Bare Essentials. I don't like liquid makeup, so I use powder. I like BE's range of colors.
BARE MINERALS...ND PHYSICIANS FORMULA...DEY SELL DA PHYSICIANS FORMULA AT TARGET...K-MART...ALMOST ANYWHERE...DA LOOSE POWDER AUTOMATICALLY COMES OUT OF DA BRUSH.....DAS FUNNY
bare minerals.
my skin has never looked better!
its amazing.
Bare Essentials!!
My fave mineral make-up is colorescience...it's amazing. It's in tube already so you're not wasting make-up unlike bare essentials where powder goes EVERYWHERE and makes a mess.
I absolutely LOVE Bare Minerals/Essentials!!!
It has awesome coverage, and I always forget to wash my face at night and I dont have to worry about zits...i know its best not to do that, but i'm forgetfull...ha ha!
Plus I've been using it for about 18 months now and I've only had to buy it 3 times!! My foundation litteraly last for 6 months.
They have so many different types of blushes and other products that cater to your stlye. Me, I love the glowy-look and the blush i have has a little bit shimmer so it really achieves that. There is also blush that gives that bronze look, a subtle, happy look, a sunkissed look, there's no limit!!
They also have starter kits....that's how i got hooked, lol!
You can for sure buy bare minerals products at Ulta or Sephora...also online of course...i'm sure they have a website.
I hope this helped....I know for a second there i started to sound like an info-mercial...but i really do love the stuff! Take Care!

BareEssentialsWhat kind of makeup powder is best for blemishes? I don't want to use founation.?
use a concealer. YSL is good.
You can try Max Factor powder, but concealor is the best. Also, using sunscreen before the make-up also reduces blemishes. What kind of makeup powder is best for blemishes? I don't want to use founation.?

Does wearing powder makeup without any base or foundation clog pores and cause blackheads?!?
It should not clog your pores if it's non-comedogenic. Good brands are Neutrogena and Clinique. Those are good brands that are also pretty good for your skin. And they shouldnt make your skin oily. Good luck!Does wearing powder makeup without any base or foundation clog pores and cause blackheads?!?
lots of makeup can clog pores and give u breakouts. look for makeup that says ';Noncomedogenic'; that means it wont clog pores.Does wearing powder makeup without any base or foundation clog pores and cause blackheads?!?
i just did that today and my face got blackheads in the next couple minutes!
and i would say foundation clogs pores more than powder cause powder cant really go deep into the skin..
Yup it did with me, thats why i put on lotion before i apply any makeup on.

Using cream/liquid makeup with powder makeup ?
I was wondering, if i were to use bare minerals foundation or any other powder, but also wanted to use a liquid highlighter, would I be able to do that ? If so, how ? I'm just imagining everything being made into a paste.Using cream/liquid makeup with powder makeup ?
Well, it might not turn into a paste, but it would most likely become very glopped together, or could give your foundation a ';pilled'; look.
As for liquid and powder cosmetics used together, the solution would be to use the liquid highlighter first.
In the area in which you want to apply the highlighter, apply it to your skin prior to foundation. Allow it a few minutes to really set and dry on the skin, and then lightly go over those areas with your foundation to help blend the highlighter into your skin. On the areas where you have not applied highlighter, apply the foundation as you would regularly, and on the areas with your highlighter, simply use a lighter hand.
If this doesn't work, then all you can really do is switch to a powder highlighter and use that.
Although, once you apply your foundation to bare skin, you CAN try patting the highlighter on with your finger or with a stippling brush, and see if that works.Using cream/liquid makeup with powder makeup ?
No. Don't apply liquid over powder because this will turn your face into an icky mess. (Liquid first, powder sets it.)
Instead, try a powder highlighter.
I always use liquid for extra coverage on problem spots and powder to ';cement'; the look.

Do you have to use powder to set HIP liquid makeup?
I'm thinking of trying out Loreal's HIP liquid makeup because it has such a wide range of colors, but I want to know some things about it first.
1. Do you have to set it with powder? They don't sell corresponding powder with it so I'm curious.
2. If you do then what kind of powder would be my best bet? I'm thinking of getting the color Sable, if that helps.
3. If you have used it before what is your opinion about it?
I've never been into makeup and I just want to cover a few splotches and still look natural.Do you have to use powder to set HIP liquid makeup?
you don't have to set it with powder unless you really want to and yes i have tried it and it works pretty good you should definatly try it and see how you like it but i like it its nice just make sure you get the right color hope that helps!
